When do you need a Cat. 6 patch cable?
A Cat. 6 patch cable is used to connect network equipment, such as computers, switches, routers or printers. You need this cable when you want a reliable internet connection or need to link devices within a local network. The 1 metre length is ideal for short distances within offices or home workspaces.

Why choose the U/UTP design?
This cable has a U/UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) construction, which means the four twisted pair wires have no additional shielding. This type is suitable for standard office environments without extreme electromagnetic interference. The green colour helps with organising and identifying different network connections in your infrastructure.

Knickschutz ensures durable connections
The RJ45 connectors feature knickschutz (kink protection) and strain relief. This prevents damage to the cable at the vulnerable points where the connector meets the cable. Thanks to this protection, the patch cable lasts longer, especially when devices are regularly plugged and unplugged.

Practical details for use
The cable has 1:1 wiring, meaning both ends are wired identically – the standard for patch cables. The LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket material produces less smoke and toxic gases in the event of a fire. You can recognise the length from the markings on the connectors, which is handy for managing multiple cables in your network cabinet.
