When do you choose this product?
When do you need a patch panel?
A patch panel is indispensable for neatly organising cables in your network cabinet. You need this product when you want to create a professional IT environment where all cabling remains structured and accessible. The panel prevents cables from being damaged by sharp edges of the cabinet and keeps your installation tidy.
Why choose this 1 U format?
This DIGITUS panel takes up exactly one height unit (1 U) in your 19-inch network cabinet, which is ideal for smaller installations or as an addition to existing configurations. With dimensions of 483×124×44 mm, it fits perfectly in standard network cabinets. The 400×30 mm opening provides enough space for routing various cable bundles without wasting valuable space.
Solid construction with edge protection
The panel is made from sheet steel and attaches securely to the corner profiles of your network cabinet. Its key feature is the integrated edge protection around the opening, which prevents sharp metal edges from damaging your expensive network cables during installation or maintenance. This protects your investment in cabling over the long term.
Practical mounting and extra storage
The rear of the panel features a handy storage plate measuring 120×480 mm, where you can store small components or cable ties. Mounting hardware is included, so you can get started straight away. Please ensure your network cabinet is suitable for 19-inch standard equipment and has sufficient free height units for installation.
