Keep your network cabinet cool without a second thought. With the adjustable thermostat, the 4 fans switch on automatically when needed, for optimal protection of your equipment.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need a roof ventilation unit?
This DIGITUS roof ventilation unit has been specially developed for installation in the roof module of network cabinets from the Unique series. You need this product when you place IT equipment in an enclosed cabinet and want to prevent it from overheating due to heat build-up. The four fans provide active air circulation that protects the lifespan of your network components.
Why choose this 4-fan configuration?
With four fans, this unit offers more cooling capacity than smaller variants, so you have sufficient cooling even with intensive use of servers and switches. The compact dimensions of 410 x 470 x 80 mm make it suitable for standard 19-inch cabinets without losing valuable rack space. This configuration is ideal for medium to large network setups.
Smart temperature control with adjustable thermostat
The built-in thermostat can be set between 0 and 70 degrees Celsius, so the ventilation starts automatically when the temperature rises. This prevents unnecessary energy waste and noise nuisance when cooling is not needed. The noise level of 47 dBm ensures that the unit remains acceptable in terms of noise disturbance, even in office environments.
Practical installation tip for Swiss environments
This model is supplied with a schutzkontakt plug including a fix adapter for Switzerland, so you can connect it directly without additional adapters. Make sure your network rack comes from the DIGITUS Unique series, as this roof ventilation unit is specifically designed only for that. Always check the ventilation openings in your cabinet before installation to ensure optimal airflow.
