When do you choose this product?
What does this extension cable do?
This USB 3.2 Gen1 active extension cable solves distance issues between your USB-C device and a USB-A port. You need this cable when standard cables are too short, or when you want to connect USB-C devices to older computers that only have USB-A connections.
Why an active extension cable?
Active extension cables compensate for signal degradation that occurs over longer distances, so you maintain reliable connections. Perfect for office environments where devices are far apart, such as meeting rooms where you want to connect a webcam or multifunction hub.
Reliable data transfer up to 5 Gbit/s
The cable supports USB 3.2 Gen1 speeds of up to 5 Gbit/s, allowing you to transfer large files quickly. The cable is also backwards compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1, so older devices work without any problems.
Direct plug & play installation
You connect this extension cable directly without installing any drivers or software. The USB-C plug fits modern laptops, tablets and smartphones, while the USB-A connector fits existing ports on desktops and older devices. The black colour ensures discreet placement in professional environments.
