Keep your server cabinet cool with this handy ventilation unit. Thanks to the adjustable thermostat, it decides for itself when extra cooling is needed, and the illuminated switch lets you see at a glance whether it is on.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need a ventilation unit?
A ventilation unit in your server rack prevents overheating of your IT equipment. When you have several servers, switches or other electronic devices installed in a 19 inch rack, the temperature can rise quickly. This DIGITUS ventilation unit provides active air circulation and protects your valuable hardware from temperature damage.
Why choose 1 rack unit with dual ventilation?
This unit takes up just 1 rack unit (44 mm) in your rack, yet still offers the cooling of 2×120 mm fans. You get maximum cooling performance without sacrificing much valuable rack space. The compact depth of 150 mm fits most standard racks without space issues.
Smart temperature control with thermostat
The main advantage is the adjustable thermostat, which can detect temperatures between 0 and 35 degrees Celsius. The fans start automatically when the set temperature is reached, which saves energy.
Practical installation and operation
The illuminated on/off switch makes it easy to check the status, even in dark server rooms. The mounting hardware is included, so you can fit the unit straight into your 19 inch rack. The light grey colour (RAL7035) matches the standard colour of most rack equipment.
