What are watercolour pencils, and when do you need them?
Waterproof coloured pencils keep their colour even when they come into contact with moisture. You need them for artworks created in damp environments or for projects where waterproof materials are required. These EBERHARD FABER Artist Color pencils are suitable for a wide range of applications thanks to their waterproof lead.

Why choose this hexagonal shape?
The hexagonal shape of these coloured pencils prevents them from rolling off your drawing table, which is especially handy during long drawing sessions. Thanks to the angular shape, the pencil sits more securely in your hand and gives you greater control over your lines. This is a major advantage over round pencils, which easily roll away and can slip out of your hands.

What does the 4.0 mm lead diameter mean for your drawings?
With a lead diameter of 4.0 mm, you can create both fine details and broader areas of colour. This thickness gives you the flexibility to apply different techniques without constantly swapping pencils. The break-resistant lead means the point is less likely to snap, even with somewhat firmer use.

Practical details for optimal use
The 24 coloured pencils come sorted in a practical metal tin, which is convenient for storage and transport. At 175 mm in length, the pencils are a comfortable size for extended use. Note that the anthracite-coloured barrel with a coloured cap makes it easy to find the right colour quickly, which considerably speeds up your workflow.
