When do you need professional colouring pencils?
Colouring pencils from Artist Color are specially developed for drawers, illustrators and artists working on demanding projects. Use these pencils when you need precision and durability in creating sketches, illustrations or artworks that must withstand moisture.

Why choose hexagonal colouring pencils?
The hexagonal shape prevents the pencils from rolling off your drawing table, which gives you more peace of mind while working. This shape also sits steadily in your hand and offers more grip than round pencils. The anthracite-coloured wood gives the pencils a professional appearance, while the coloured caps clearly show which colour you are holding.

What does waterproof drawing mean?
The waterproof property ensures that your drawings do not run or fade when they come into contact with moisture. This is essential for outdoor drawing, mixed media projects, or when your work is later worked on with watercolour or other wet techniques. Your drawing stays sharp and the colours retain their intensity.

Practical benefits of this set
With 12 different colours, you have a basic range for most drawing projects. The 4.0 mm thick lead is sturdy and break-resistant, so you need to sharpen less often. The metal case protects your pencils during transport and keeps your workspace organised. The length of 175 mm offers sufficient grip for long periods of drawing.
