When do you choose this product?
When do you need a quick-adjust compass?
A compass is used for drawing perfect circles and measuring equal distances on paper. This quick-adjust version is ideal when you regularly need different circle sizes for technical drawing, mathematics or creative projects.
Why choose this 170 mm size?
With a length of 170 mm, you can draw circles up to 390 mm in diameter. This size gives you sufficient range for most drawings on A4 and A3 paper, while the compass remains easy to handle. The quick-adjust mechanism with a centre thumbscrew allows you to set the desired radius quickly and accurately.
Practical benefits of the material combination
This compass combines plastic with metal for a good balance between durability and weight. The neon green and black graphic pattern makes the instrument easy to spot in your pencil case or on your desk, so you are less likely to lose it.
Complete set for long-term use
A plastic case is included for safe storage and transport. There is also a box of spare parts and extra leads, so you can keep using this instrument for a long time. This makes it a practical choice for students and professionals who use a compass regularly.
