What is an order pad and when do you need one?
An order pad such as this ELVE Commandes model is designed for recording orders in restaurants, cafés and other hospitality venues. It offers a systematic way to note down customer orders and create copies straight away for various departments such as the kitchen, bar and administration.

Why choose this 210×148 mm format?
The 210×148 mm format is practically suited to hospitality use: large enough to record all order information clearly, yet compact enough to carry easily between tables. This size fits comfortably in a waiter's apron or handbag and offers ample writing space without being cumbersome.

How do the two carbon copies per sheet work?
Each of the 50 sheets in this pad has two carbon copies, which means that with one writing you automatically get three copies. This system ensures the order is recorded at the same time for service, the kitchen and, if applicable, the till or administration, without you having to make copies manually.

Practical tip for optimal use
Always use a ballpoint pen with sufficient pressure to ensure all three copies are legible. Store the pad in a dry place and take care when separating the carbon copies to avoid tears. The ELVE brand is known for the good carbon copy quality of its paper.
