What is an elastic folder and when do you need one?
An elastic folder is a handy solution for keeping loose documents together without using a ring binder or lever arch file. You choose this type when you want to temporarily bundle papers, take them to a meeting or store them safely without them creasing or sliding about.

Why this A4 format with three flaps?
This EXACOMPTA elastic folder has three insert flaps, meaning documents are protected on all sides. The format measures 240 x 320 mm, so it encloses standard A4 documents perfectly. The corner elastic bands keep the folder securely closed, so nothing falls out when you place the folder in a bag or on a desk.

Honest about the material: 0.5 mm polypropylene
The folder is made of 0.5 mm thick polypropylene. This is a lightweight plastic that is resistant to moisture and bending, but is deliberately kept thin to keep the folder compact. The material is not intended for intensive daily use with large stacks of paper, but works well for organising and transporting a limited number of documents.

Practical tip: writable spine strip
The folder has a writable spine label, allowing you to easily note a subject or project name. This way you can store several folders side by side in a drawer or on a shelf and quickly find the right one. The light green colour also helps you apply a colour code within your filing system, for example per project or per department.
