What does this postal folder do and when do you need it?
A postal folder is used to transport or store loose documents, letters or forms in an organised and protected way. This EXACOMPTA postal folder is suitable for the DIN A4 format and keeps your papers together during transport, for example between the office and home or on the way to a meeting.

Why this format and this design?
The dimensions of 240×320 mm are precisely matched to A4 documents, so your papers won't curl or stick out. The folder features three inside flaps and an elastic closure, which keeps the contents in place even during mobile use. Thanks to the 'Postmappe' print on the front, the folder is immediately recognisable and easy to identify in a stack.

Honest about the material: sturdy cardboard, not a hard shell
The folder is made from Colorspan cardboard weighing 425 g/m², which makes it sturdier than standard document folders made from thinner cardboard. Even so, this is a flexible cardboard folder and not a rigid binder or case, so it offers protection under normal use but is not intended to shield documents from moisture or heavy mechanical stress.

Practical tip: use and storage
The yellow colour makes the folder handy in a colour-coding system, for example by project, department or priority. Because the folder is designed for A4 and not for thicker files or ring binders, it is best used for loose sheets, letters or lightweight documents. When reusing it, check that the elastic still has enough tension to close the contents securely.
