With these watercolour pencils you effortlessly add colour and depth to your drawings. The soft, vibrant release turns into a true watercolour the moment you add water, with 12 carefully selected colours.
When do you choose this product?
What are watercolour pencils and when do you use them?
Watercolour pencils combine the precision of coloured pencils with the paint effects of watercolour. You use them dry for detailed colouring and add water to create smooth, painterly effects. This technique is ideal for art projects where you want both sharp lines and soft transitions.
Why choose a set of 12 colours?
This Albrecht Dürer set contains essential basic colours such as white, cadmium yellow, phthalo blue, cadmium orange dark, magenta, ultramarine light, emerald green, light green, walnut brown, yellow ochre burnt, black and crimson red. With these twelve carefully selected shades, you can mix a broad colour spectrum and be equipped for most drawing projects.
Professional quality with soft colour release
These watercolour pencils deliver a soft and richly pigmented stroke thanks to their artist quality. The pencils are water-soluble, which means you can activate the colours with a brush and water for watercolour effects. The 3.8 mm thick colour core ensures a rich colour release and lasts a long time.
Practical specifications for use
At a length of 176 mm, these pencils sit comfortably in the hand during longer drawing projects. The metal tin keeps your pencils organised and protects them from breaking. For the best results, use watercolour paper or sturdy drawing paper that can withstand moisture when you add water.
