When do you need a ballpoint refill with a steel tip?
A ballpoint refill with a steel tip is ideal when you need to fill in plenty of carbon forms or make copies while you write. The steel tip allows you to apply enough pressure to write through several layers of paper, which ordinary ballpoint pens often cannot do.

Why choose a medium line width?
The M line width offers the ideal balance between legibility and practical use. Your text remains clearly readable without the letters becoming too thick, while still depositing enough ink to press through to the sheets underneath. This makes this refill suitable for both everyday writing and official documents.

Document-safe ink for important documents
This refill contains document-safe ink in accordance with ISO 12757-1, which means your signatures and notes will not fade or erase over time. The ink is also lightfast, so text will not discolour when documents are stored for a long period or exposed to sunlight. This makes the refill reliable for contracts, forms and other important paperwork.

Compatibility with Faber-Castell ballpoint pens
This refill is specifically designed for Faber-Castell ballpoint pens and has reference number 148740. Check whether your ballpoint pen is suitable for this type of refill by comparing the model on the pen with the specifications. If in doubt, remove the old refill to check the shape and dimensions before inserting the new one.
