Professional fineliner with waterproof, lightfast ink for durable drawings. The 0.3 mm tip gives you precision for detailed work, perfect for artists and designers.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need a fineliner for technical work?
The Faber-Castell PITT artist pen is a professional fineliner you choose when you need to draw precise lines for technical drawings, illustrations or detailed work. Thanks to the pigmented drawing ink and 0.3 mm line width, you get consistent, fine strokes that are ideal for architectural sketches, technical diagrams and artistic projects.
Why this 0.3 mm line width is optimal
With a line width of 0.3 mm, this pen sits perfectly between fine detail pens and standard fineliners. You can draw very precise lines as well as slightly thicker accents. The metal tip ensures stable line quality, even during prolonged use and when pressing firmly on the paper.
Permanent and lightfast properties
This fineliner contains pigmented drawing ink that is waterproof and permanent. Your work will not fade in daylight and will not run on contact with water or other materials. The acid-free and odourless composition makes the pen suitable for archiving and long-term storage of documents.
Practical details for everyday use
The warm grey colour (colour code 273) offers a subtle alternative to black and is ideal for shadows and technical annotations. The cap has a clip so you can easily attach the pen to clothing or a notebook. Store the pen horizontally to keep the ink flow optimal.

Dex knows - user tips
Shake the pen well before use so the ink is evenly distributed, and after first use, let it run over paper for a moment to achieve a smooth stroke. The ink is waterproof and permanent, so test it on an inconspicuous spot first if you are not sure whether the material is suitable.
