When do you need a fountain pen?
A fountain pen is ideal for long writing sessions where comfort and writing pleasure matter. Unlike ballpoint pens, a fountain pen glides effortlessly across the paper, easing strain on your hand during extended writing. You should choose a fountain pen if you regularly take handwritten notes, keep a journal or sign documents.

Why this triangular grip is the right choice
The ergonomic triangular grip of this Faber-Castell fountain pen ensures a natural finger position while you write. This shape prevents cramping and reduces the pressure your fingers exert. The non-slip soft-touch surface provides extra grip, so the pen won't slide out of your hand during intensive use.

What the M nib means for you
The M (medium) nib delivers a balanced line width suitable for most writing tasks. You get sufficient ink flow without the writing becoming too thick, while the robust stainless steel nib withstands daily use. This nib width works well on standard office paper and notebooks.

Eco-friendly and practical
The barrel is made up of 75% recycled plastic, so you make a more sustainable choice without compromising on functionality. You can refill this fountain pen with standard ink cartridges, which is more economical than disposable pens. Store the pen horizontally or nib-down to maintain optimal ink flow.
