With this giant compass you effortlessly draw circles up to 340 mm in diameter, handy for the classroom board or large drawings. The ribbed head and anti-slip clamp ensure a firm grip, and you receive 5 pieces in different colours.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need a giant compass?
A giant compass is what you use when you need to draw large circles that go beyond what a standard school compass can manage. This format is ideal for technical drawing, architectural sketches, maths lessons on the board or creative projects where you need circles up to 340 mm in diameter. The 170 mm length of the compass legs gives you the room for precision work on a large scale.
Why choose this set of 5?
This pack of 5 giant compasses is practical for schools, drawing offices or workplaces where several people work with large circles at the same time. The compasses come sorted in black, blue and red, making them easy to tell apart or assign to different users or projects.
Sturdy construction for accurate work
The gear mechanism in the compass head provides a robust connection between the legs. The ridged head gives you a firm grip during use, while the anti-slip fitting of the needle and pencil lead prevents them from shifting while you draw. The smooth movement of the legs makes it possible to draw flowing circles without any sticking.
Practical storage and maintenance
Each compass is supplied in a plastic case that protects it during transport and storage. Check regularly that the lead clamp is still firmly in place, and replace the lead when it becomes blunt for the best results when drawing your large circles.
