This is why Dex likes this article
With these 36 watercolour pencils you bring every design to life. You colour first and then, with a little water, conjure beautiful watercolour effects, thanks to the high pigmentation and soft, vibrant release. Handy in the metal case, so your pencils always stay safely and neatly stored.
When do you choose this product?
What are watercolour pencils and when do you use them?
Watercolour pencils combine the convenience of coloured pencils with the possibilities of watercolour paint. You draw dry, just like with ordinary coloured pencils, and then add water to create watercolour effects. These GOLDFABER pencils are fully soluble in water, allowing you to create soft colour transitions and transparent layers.
Why choose a set of 36 colours?
With 36 different colours, you have enough variation for extensive art projects and professional work. The highly pigmented colours ensure a vibrant and saturated result, even after diluting with water. This set gives you more colour options than smaller sets, without having to go straight to the largest variant.
Strong point: durability and lightfastness
A key advantage of these pencils is their high break resistance and excellent lightfastness. This means your artwork won't fade quickly and the pencils are less likely to break during use. The 3.3 mm lead diameter offers a good balance between fine details and broad areas of colour.
Practical details for everyday use
The hexagonal shape prevents the pencils from rolling off your workspace and offers a comfortable grip. The metal case keeps your pencils organised and protects them during transport. For the best watercolour effect, use a damp brush after drawing - this dissolves the pigments and creates the desired watercolour look.
