Ideal for artists and illustrators who like to colour in large areas. The protective film keeps your hands clean and gives beautiful contrasts when sketching.
When do you choose this product?
What does this product do?
The PITT GRAPHITE PURE graphite pencil is a fully graphite lead without a wooden casing, specially developed for area-covering drawing. This pencil allows you to colour in and shade large surfaces, which would be much more time-consuming with an ordinary pencil. The graphite lead produces a beautiful grey tone suitable for a variety of drawing work.
Why choose this size?
At a length of 174 mm, this pencil provides enough material for extensive drawing work. The fully graphite construction means you can use the pencil from all sides - both the tip for detailed work and the side for broad strokes. This makes it ideal when you want to fill large areas quickly or create high-contrast effects.
Clean working thanks to protective film
The distinctive feature of this graphite pencil is the protective film wrapped around it. This film keeps your hands clean while drawing, even during intensive use. Without this film, the graphite lead would soil your fingers, which can be bothersome during precision work or long drawing sessions.
Practical tip for use
You can sharpen this graphite pencil in the normal way, despite it being a fully graphite lead. Turn the pencil regularly while drawing to maintain an even point and to make optimal use of the graphite surface for your area-covering techniques.
