When do you need a mechanical pencil with automatic lead advance?
A mechanical pencil is ideal for technical drawing, sketching and precise writing where you want to maintain a constant line width. This Faber-Castell GRIP MATIC mechanical pencil means you no longer have to manually push the lead forward during use.

Why choose the 0.7 mm version?
The 0.7 mm lead diameter offers the perfect balance between precision and sturdiness. This thickness breaks less easily than thinner leads such as 0.5 mm, yet still provides sufficient accuracy for detailed work. You can use it for both writing and drawing without the lead constantly breaking.

Automatic lead advance without pressing
The greatest advantage of this mechanical pencil is the automatic system that feeds the lead forward on its own during use. You no longer need to interrupt your work to adjust the lead by hand, which considerably improves your workflow. This makes extended writing and drawing much more comfortable.

Ergonomic design for long-term use
The rubberised grip zone provides a comfortable hold and prevents the mechanical pencil from slipping out of your fingers. The extra-long eraser at the end is handy for quick corrections. The transparent barrel lets you see exactly how many leads are left, so you can refill in good time.
