This is why Dex likes this article
This super-fine marker is ideal for writing on CDs and DVDs without damaging the disc. The water-soluble ink dries very quickly and gives clear, crisp lines of 0.4 mm.
When do you choose this product?
What does this marker do and when do you need it?
This Faber-Castell OHP-CD-PLUS marker is specially developed for writing on CDs and DVDs. You need this marker when you want to label optical discs without damaging them. Thanks to its non-permanent properties, you can add text and information that can be removed later if necessary.
Why this super-fine 0.4 mm version?
The 0.4 mm line width produces very precise, fine lines, allowing you to write even small details within the limited space of a CD or DVD label. This super-fine tip is ideal when you want to place several lines of text on a disc or when you need neat, compact labelling.
Advantages of the metal tip
The metal nib provides extra strength and precision while writing. This keeps the line width consistent and gives you sharp-edged results. The marker dries within a few seconds, so you can handle the disc straight after writing on it without smudging.
Practical tip for use
This marker is water-soluble, which means you can remove the text with water if you make a mistake or want to change the labelling. Do be sure to write only on the label side of the disc, never on the playing side. The intense, bright colours ensure your text remains clearly visible, even after a long time.

Dex knows - user tips
Before you begin: give the marker a quick shake, then press the tip onto a piece of paper for a moment so the ink flows properly. This prevents a dry, patchy first stroke on your CD or DVD.
