What are CD/DVD markers and when do you use them?
CD/DVD markers are special permanent pens designed to write safely on the label side of CDs and DVDs. You need them when you want to label your discs with titles, categories or dates without damaging the data on the disc. Ordinary pens can seep through the protective layer and make your files unreadable.

Why choose the extra-fine 0.4 mm variant?
With a line width of approximately 0.4 mm, this extra-fine version offers much more precision than standard markers. This allows you to write small text neatly and fit detailed information onto the limited surface of a disc. This is ideal when you have several albums, back-ups or projects on a single disc and want to clearly indicate what is where.

The benefits of the metal tip
These Faber-Castell markers have a metal-cased tip, which means the writing tip sits in a metal housing. This ensures a more stable and durable tip that wears down less quickly with regular use. The permanent ink stays put and does not fade, even during long-term storage of your labelled discs.

Practical colour set for clarity
The pack contains four different colours: red, blue, black and green. This lets you set up a colour system, for example black for documents, blue for music, red for important back-ups and green for photos. Just be sure to write only on the label side (top) of the disc, never on the underside where the data is read.
