This white drawing pen from Faber-Castell creates beautiful accents on dark paper. The pigment ink is waterproof and lightfast, perfect for long-lasting artwork and highlights.
When do you choose this product?
What is this fineliner used for and when do you need it?
The Faber-Castell PITT artist pen is a professional fineliner filled with pigmented drawing ink. You use this pen for technical drawing, illustration, hand lettering and graphic work where you need permanent, waterproof lines. Thanks to its acid-free composition, this pen is also suitable for archiving and artworks that must last a long time.
Why choose the 2.5 mm round tip?
With the 2.5 mm round tip, you create broad, expressive lines that are perfect for filling large areas, bold lettering and graphic accents. This tip size gives you more coverage than thinner pens and is ideal for creating contrast in your drawings or for making thick outlines.
Permanent and lightfast properties
The pigmented drawing ink ensures high lightfastness, meaning your work will not fade when exposed to light. The ink is waterproof and permanent once dry, so you can work over it with other materials without the white ink running. In addition, the pen is odourless, which is pleasant during extended use.
Practical tip for drawing in white
White ink needs a dark or coloured surface to be visible. Always test first on a small piece of your paper or surface to see how opaque the white ink is. For the best results, work on coloured paper, card or over other ink layers. Store the pen horizontally and shake it before use to mix the pigments thoroughly.
