When do you need a metallic drawing and art pen?
The Faber-Castell PITT artist pen has been specially developed for artists and illustrators who work with pigmented drawing ink. You use this pen when you want permanent, professional results in illustrations, technical drawings or artistic projects. The metallic green colour adds a special dimension to your work.

Why choose the 1.5 mm nib size?
With a line width of 1.5 mm, this pen sits between fine detail work and broader areas. You can use it to draw lines as well as to colour in smaller surfaces. This width is ideal for medium-sized lettering, outlines and decorative elements where you want more impact than with thin fineliners.

Permanent and lightfast properties
This pen contains pigmented drawing ink that is waterproof and permanent once dry. The ink is also highly lightfast, which means your work will not fade from sunlight or other light sources. The acid-free and odourless composition makes the pen suitable for archiving and long-term use.

Practical tip for optimal use
Store the pen horizontally and make sure the cap fits securely to prevent the ink from drying out. Thanks to its permanent properties, you can combine this pen with watercolour or other techniques without the metallic green line running. Always test first on a small piece of your paper to see how the metallic colour reacts on your surface.
