Professional colouring pencils with an oil crayon core that does not smudge or fade. The 24 carefully selected colours in the sturdy metal tin turn your creative projects into a true work of art.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need professional colouring pencils?
These Faber-Castell Polychromos colouring pencils have been specially developed for artists who work with high-quality materials. You choose this type of colouring pencil when you make drawings that need to last, because the oil pastel core is both erasure-proof and water-resistant. This means your artwork won't fade due to moisture or be accidentally smudged.
Why choose this 24-colour set?
With 24 carefully selected colours, you get a complete basic palette for most drawing projects. The set includes essential colours such as cadmium yellow, ultramarine, emerald green and various brown tones, so you can start right away without buying extra colours. This selection gives you enough variety for portrait work, landscapes and much more.
What makes the 3.8 mm core special?
The thick 3.8 mm core produces a soft, colour-rich impression on paper. At the same time, this core is break-resistant, which means it doesn't snap easily while you're drawing, even under firmer pressure. This lets you create both fine details and broad areas of colour without damaging the pencil.
Practical tip for long-term use
The metal case protects your pencils optimally during transport and storage. Always keep the pencils in this case to prevent the points from being damaged or the pencils from rolling about. The round shape, 176 mm in length, sits comfortably in your hand for long drawing sessions.
