Fun pencil caps with a giraffe, crab and hippo on them! They keep pots clean, extend your pencil and protect the soft tip from breaking.
When do you choose this product?
What does this product do?
These pencil caps from Faber-Castell protect your pencil against contamination and damage to the lead. The caps are made of plastic and fit onto the tip of your pencil, so the soft lead doesn't break or get dirty in, for example, a pencil case or pencil pot. Handy for anyone who uses pencils with a soft core and wants to keep them neat between uses.
Why this set of 3?
You get the caps in a set of three, each with a different animal motif: giraffe, crab and hippo. That makes them not only functional but also fun to recognise, for example for children who want to tell their own pencil apart from a classmate's. With three in the house, you immediately have enough to protect several pencils.
More than just protection
As well as their protective function, you can also use the caps as a pencil extender. When a pencil gets shorter from sharpening, slide the cap over the end to make the pencil a bit longer and easier to hold. This way a pencil lasts longer before it's too short to write or draw with comfortably.
Practical tip
Because the caps are specially designed to protect the soft lead, they are most suitable for pencils with such a core, such as coloured pencils or drawing pencils. Keep the caps together with your pencil
