When should you choose a 3B pencil?
A 3B pencil is ideal for creative work where you want to draw soft, dark lines. This type of pencil is mainly used for sketching, artistic drawing and shading, as the soft graphite lead produces rich shades of grey. The 3B grade ensures smooth lines without having to apply much pressure to the paper.

Why choose the hexagonal shape?
The hexagonal shape of this Faber-Castell pencil offers practical benefits while drawing. Thanks to its angular shape, the pencil won't roll off your drawing table and sits steadily in your hand. This gives you more control over your lines and means you won't have to keep picking up your pencil during creative sessions.

Durability through special bonding
This pencil stands out because of its special bonding, which offers break protection. This technique ensures the graphite lead is better connected to the wood, so it is less likely to break when dropped or under pressure. You can therefore work with more confidence, without worrying about a broken point during important drawing sessions.

Practical features for everyday use
The lead diameter of approximately 2 mm gives you enough graphite for long-lasting use. The blue and gold lacquer gives the pencil a recognisable appearance and protects the wood against moisture and wear. Thanks to this combination of features, this pencil is suitable for both beginning artists and experienced drawers who need reliable tools.
