When do you need a thick pencil?
This Faber-Castell Jumbo GRIP pencil has an extra-thick lead of 3.25 mm, making it ideal for children who are still learning to write or draw. The thick format offers more resistance and control, perfect for beginning writers who are still developing their motor skills.

Why choose the triangular shape?
The triangular shape provides a natural and comfortable grip. Your fingers automatically fall into the right place, which prevents cramped hands during prolonged use. This is especially important when learning the correct writing posture.

What makes the Soft-Grip Zone special?
The special Soft-Grip Zone offers extra comfort and prevents the pencil from slipping out of your fingers. This zone gives you more control over your lines and makes drawing and writing more pleasant, especially during longer sessions.

Practical details for everyday use
The pencil has a hardness grade of HB, which offers a good balance between hardness and softness for general use. The two-tone turquoise barrel makes the pencil easy to recognise among other writing materials. The water-based lacquer technology ensures the lacquer layer remains durable, even with intensive use by children.
