When do you choose this product?
What does this product do?
A pencil is used for drawing, sketching and writing. The 2 mm graphite core provides a firm line and is less prone to breaking under pressure.
Why this hexagonal shape?
The hexagonal profile of this Faber-Castell pencil prevents it from rolling off your desk and gives you more grip while drawing. This makes extended work more comfortable than with round pencils, especially for precision work where you need control over the line width.
What does the 2 mm core diameter mean?
The 2 mm graphite core is sturdier than standard pencil cores, so it is less likely to break under pressure. This size allows you to draw both fine lines and broader strokes by holding the pencil at an angle.
Practical tip for use
The black water-based lacquer protects the wood and ensures the pencil doesn't leave marks on your fingers during use. When sharpening, make sure to use a good pencil sharpener suitable for the 2 mm core diameter, so that you don't damage the graphite and maintain a nice point.
