Fun pencil caps featuring a frog, pig and bear as cheerful companions for your pencil. They protect the lead from breaking and conveniently act as an extender when your pencil gets shorter.
When do you choose this product?
What does this product do?
These pencil caps from Faber-Castell are designed to be placed over the tip of a pencil whenever you are not writing or drawing. They are made of plastic and prevent the soft lead from breaking or your pencil case, bag or trouser pocket from getting dirty. For children who use pencils a lot, for example at school or while drawing, this is a handy extra protective accessory that you can easily leave on the pencil or remove when needed.
Why a set of 3 with different motifs?
The product is supplied as a set of three caps, each with its own animal motif: a frog, a pig and a bear. This variety makes it easier to tell pencils apart, which is useful when several children or users share pencils. The little animals also make the cap more appealing to children, so they are more likely to use it rather than lose it or forget to put it on.
More than just protection
As well as protecting the tip, the cap can also serve as a pencil extender. This means that a pencil that has already become quite short can still be held and used comfortably by fitting the cap to the end. This gets more life out of a pencil before you have to replace it, which is a pleasant bonus especially for favourite or slightly more expensive pencils.
