This triangular rainbow pencil combines three beautiful pastel colours in one pencil. Perfect for creative projects and colourful drawing, with an extra-thick lead for smooth use.
When do you choose this product?
What does a rainbow pencil do and when do you need one?
A rainbow pencil combines multiple colours in a single pencil, so you can lay down different shades on paper with one stroke. You use this type of pencil for creative projects, colouring, or when you enjoy experimenting with colour transitions without constantly switching pencils.
Why choose the triangular Jumbo variant?
This Faber-Castell rainbow pencil has a triangular shape that sits naturally in your fingers and is less likely to roll out of your hand. The Jumbo size offers more grip, which is especially pleasant for long periods of drawing or for people with larger hands. The ergonomic shape reduces hand fatigue.
The unique three-colour lead: turquoise, pink and lilac
This particular variant contains a 5.3 mm lead with three pastel shades that blend smoothly into one another. The soft pastel colours turquoise, pink and lilac create a subtle effect on paper. By turning the pencil as you draw, you vary which colours become most visible in your lines.
Practical tip for the best colour results
Experiment with different drawing angles and rotation directions to influence colour intensity. On smoother paper the pastel shades come through more softly, while coarser paper produces more texture and colour blending. Store the pencil lying flat to prevent the lead from warping.
