When do you need a rollerball refill?
You replace a rollerball refill when your current one is empty or no longer writes well. This Faber-Castell BASIC refill is specifically designed for rollerball pens and provides a smooth writing experience, combining the fluidity of ink with the control of a ballpoint pen.

Why choose a ceramic tip?
The ceramic tip of this refill offers a durable writing solution that lasts longer than standard metal tips. Ceramic wears down less quickly and retains its shape better, so you can write for longer with a consistent line width and smooth ink flow.

Advantages of water-based ink
This refill uses water-based ink that is lightfast, meaning your written text won't fade quickly when exposed to light. The ink dries relatively quickly and causes less show-through on thin paper compared with some other ink types, while still retaining the characteristic smooth writing experience of a rollerball.

Suitable for carbon copying
A practical advantage of this refill is that it is suitable for carbon copying. This means that with sufficient pressure you can write through several layers of paper, which is handy when filling in forms with carbon copies or making duplicates. Always check before use that the refill is compatible with your specific Faber-Castell rollerball pen model.
