Wire binding spines are metal coils that let you bind loose documents into a sturdy booklet. You do need a wire binding machine to punch holes in your paper for them. This binding method is ideal for reports, manuals or presentations that you often want to open flat and sometimes need to flip through.

Why choose 6 mm thickness?
With these 6 mm wire binding spines, you can bind documents of 1 to 35 sheets. This size is perfect for thin to medium-thickness documents such as short reports, instructions or presentation folders. For thicker bundles you need a larger diameter, while for thinner bundles you could use smaller spines.

Compatibility with the 3:1 punching system
These binding spines only work with wire binding machines that have a 3:1 pitch. This means 3 holes are punched per inch (2.54 cm). Always check whether your binding machine uses this punch pattern, as binding spines with a different hole pattern will not fit. The 34 rings provide a secure binding along the full height of A4.
