This is why Dex likes this article
This powerhouse effortlessly handles 38-40 sheets at a time, and with SafeSense it stops immediately if your hands come too close. Ideal for busy offices where large numbers of documents need to be destroyed.
When do you choose this product?
For which situations do you use a paper shredder?
A paper shredder is essential when you want to securely destroy confidential documents. Think of invoices, contracts, personal correspondence or business documents containing sensitive information. This Fellowes Powershred 425i doesn't just shred paper, but also credit cards, CDs and staples, so you can dispose of various materials in a single appliance.
Why choose this format and capacity?
With a capacity of 38-40 sheets at a time and a large 121-litre waste bin, this model is suitable for busy office environments or home offices where large volumes of documents are regularly destroyed. The 305 mm working width means you can also feed in A4 documents in full. Thanks to the large bin capacity, you won't need to empty it constantly.
How does the safety system work?
This shredder features SafeSense technology, which automatically stops the machine as soon as you touch the paper feed. This prevents accidents during use. The anti-jam system ensures that the appliance automatically stops and reverses when too much paper is fed in, preventing paper jams.
Compatibility and a practical tip
The appliance works with a standard Schutzkontakt plug and has security level P-2/O-2/T-2, which is suitable for internal documents with normal confidentiality. Please note that you should place the shredder on a flat surface due to its dimensions of 559 x 508 x 965 mm. Do not remove large staples and paper clips beforehand – the appliance can process these itself.
