When do you use a privacy filter?
A privacy filter is essential when you regularly work with sensitive information in places where others can look over your shoulder. This filter ensures that your screen content is only visible from the front, while prying eyes from the side are blocked.

Why choose this 22-inch size?
This Fellowes PrivaScreen is specifically designed for screens with a diagonal of 55.88 cm (22 inches) and fits both laptops and monitors. The 16:10 format matches many modern widescreen displays perfectly, giving you optimal coverage without the filter being too large or too small for your screen.

How does the privacy technology work?
The filter darkens the screen at a side viewing angle of 30 degrees. This means you still have a clear view from your workstation, while colleagues, fellow travellers or passers-by see only a dark screen when viewing from the side. The data therefore remains readable only when viewed head-on.

Practical benefits beyond privacy
In addition to protection against prying eyes, this filter offers extra advantages. It reduces annoying reflections and screen glare, making it possible to work more comfortably. It also protects your screen against scratches and other damage, which is especially useful when using laptops on the move.
