When do you choose this product?
What does oven-hardening modelling clay do?
Oven-hardening modelling clay is ideal for making durable creations that you can keep. After kneading and shaping, you harden your artwork in the oven, after which it becomes a sturdy decoration or toy. This FIMO kids variant has been specially developed for children and offers a perfect start for young artists.
Why choose this 6-piece basic set?
This set contains six blocks of 42 grams each in the colours white, yellow, red, blue, green and black. With these basic colours you can mix all other shades and have enough material for multiple projects. The total quantity of 252 grams provides sufficient clay for extensive crafting sessions.
Specially developed for little hands
FIMO kids clay is made extra soft, so children can knead it easily without much effort. The material meets the EN71 safety standard, which means it is safe for use by children. The soft consistency prevents small hands from getting tired while modelling.
Practical tip for long-term use
The set comes in a resealable packaging that keeps your clay fresh between crafting sessions. Always store the blocks tightly closed at room temperature. To harden, place your creations on baking paper in the oven according to the instructions on the packaging. This way your artworks will stay beautiful for years.

Dex knows - user tips
Hazard statements were not provided, and for FIMO oven-hardening clay there is a well-known usage point: after shaping, you need to harden it in the oven (usually around 110°C, for 30 minutes per centimetre of thickness). This certainly applies to this product type and brand.
Let your creations harden in the oven at about 110 °C. Never use a microwave or hot-air fryer for this. Let the clay cool down completely before you touch it, as it is still very hot straight out of the oven.
