What is oven-hardening modelling clay?
Oven-hardening modelling clay such as FIMO SOFT is used to make durable figures, jewellery and decorative objects. Unlike ordinary clay that dries in the air, this material only becomes permanently hard once you have baked it in the oven for 30 minutes at 110 degrees. This gives you plenty of time to model calmly without the clay drying out.

Why choose the soft SOFT variant?
FIMO SOFT is ready for use straight out of the packaging because the material is already soft and pliable. You don't need to knead it warm for a long time first, as with harder clay varieties. This makes it especially suitable for beginners and children who want to start their project right away without much preparation time.

Practically pre-divided into 8 portions
This block is conveniently divided into 8 equal parts, so you can measure out exactly how much clay you need for each part of your project. This prevents waste and helps when making several identical components. The different portions can also easily be mixed to create new colours.

Compact dimensions for storage
With its compact size, this block of clay fits easily into any hobby drawer or toolbox. The sahara colour is a neutral base colour that combines well with other FIMO colours. Make sure you seal the clay properly after use to prevent it from drying out, even though this variant is naturally softer than other modelling clays.
