Make December extra cosy with this Hygge advent calendar village! The 24 little houses in various shapes and sizes hang from the red satin ribbon, ready to be filled with fun surprises.
When do you choose this product?
What is an advent calendar kit and when do you use it?
An advent calendar kit is a craft set that lets you make your own advent calendar for the Christmas period. You fill the 24 little houses with small gifts or sweets and hang them up, so that a surprise can be opened every day in December up to Christmas.
Why choose this Hyggekampje variant?
This set contains 24 cardboard houses in 4 different shapes and sizes, which gives it a varied and playful look. The card has a weight of approx. 270 g/m², which is sturdy enough to hold small gifts without tearing. The different house shapes give your advent calendar an authentic Christmas village feel.
How do hanging and decorating work?
The set comes with 24 hanging tabs that you attach to each house, plus 3 metres of red satin ribbon for hanging. The red satin ribbon matches the Christmas atmosphere perfectly and is long enough to thread all the houses onto one ribbon or to create different hanging systems.
Practical tip for making it
Fill the houses with small gifts before attaching the hanging tabs – this prevents them from flapping open while you fill them. You can further personalise the houses with numbers 1 to 24 and add extra decoration if you like. Make sure you hang the houses where children can easily reach them, but where they can't accidentally fall down.
