Lovely weaving sheets with cheerful woodland animals such as fox, squirrel and wolf. Ideal for craft fun at school or at home, with 8 different designs to discover!
When do you choose this product?
What are weaving sheets and what do you use them for?
Weaving sheets are pre-printed paper templates that you use as a basis for a classic plaiting or weaving technique. You cut the strips and then fold narrow paper strips through the slits, so that a woven pattern is created. This is a popular craft activity for children, for example at school, during after-school care or at home.
Why choose this set with woodland animal motifs?
This set of sheets contains 48 A4-sized sheets, divided across 8 different woodland animal motifs: fox, woodpecker, squirrel, wild boar, hare, beaver, rabbit and wolf. Because the sheets are supplied sorted, you immediately have a varied collection that allows several children to get started at the same time. The theme lends itself well to a seasonal craft project, such as an autumn or nature activity.
An honest look at the paper weight
The sheets are made from paper with a weight of 150 g/m². That is sturdier than standard printer paper, which means the woven strips are less likely to tear while crafting. At the same time, the material remains flexible enough to work with comfortably, including for younger children.
Practical tip for use
Each sheet is printed on one side with the woodland animal motif, so the finished result always shows the design on the front. When cutting the strips, make sure you use sharp scissors or a cutting mat, so the lines stay neat and straight. The set contains 48 pieces across 8 motifs, which means 6 sheets per motif — useful to know in advance if you are planning the activity for a larger group.
