What is crêpe paper and when do you use it?

Crêpe paper is an elastic, crinkled paper that is perfect for craft projects, decorations and school projects. You mainly use it when you want to make flowers, wrap presents in a creative way, or need colourful decorations for parties and events. Thanks to its crinkled structure, the paper is easy to shape and stretch.

Why choose this yellow-green 500 mm size?

With a width of 500 mm and a length of 2.5 metres per roll, you get enough material for medium to large projects. The yellow-green colour is ideal for nature themes, spring decorations or when you want to create a fresh, vibrant look. The size is practical because you can make both large decorative elements and smaller details without constantly having to start new rolls.

Understand the paper properties

This crêpe paper weighs 32 grams per square metre and is not wet-strength – this means it is not waterproof. When it gets damp, it can discolour or tear. This makes it suitable for dry environments and indoor decorations, but less practical for outdoor use or projects where it will come into contact with water.

Practical value pack

You get 10 layers of crêpe paper packed in one convenient bag. This is good value if you craft or teach regularly, as you immediately have a sizeable stock. The bag packaging keeps the paper dry and protects it from damage during storage.
