Lovely decorative cord for your gifts, cards or DIY projects! The 5 two-tone cotton colours give every craft project a cosy, handmade touch.
When do you choose this product?
What does this product do?
Bakers Twine is a decorative cord that you use to give gifts, cards and small treats a handmade look. The cord is ideal for tying up parcels, decorating labels or adding an accent to scrapbook and card projects. Because it is made entirely of cotton, it feels natural and looks less like plastic than synthetic string.
Why this combination of colours?
This pack contains 20 metres of cord, divided into 5 colour combinations of 4 metres each: brown/beige, brown/blue, red/light pink, red/dark green and red/grey. Having several shades in one set means you can vary by occasion or season without having to buy separate cord. The mix of warm and cooler colours makes it suitable for a wide range of themes, from festive to understated.
What makes the two-tone winding special?
Each cord is wound in two colours, creating a striped effect rather than a solid colour. This gives the cord a decorative character straight away, even without further embellishment. As a result, you don't need to combine it with ribbons or stickers to achieve a polished finish, although of course that remains possible.
Practical tip
Because the 20 metres are divided into five separate 4-metre colour segments, it is useful to
