When do you need this special folding paper?
This transparent folding paper has been specially developed for making the famous Bascetta star, a beautiful 3D origami decoration. You use this paper when you want to make a light-permeable star decoration that stands out beautifully against window or lamp lighting. The transparent nature creates a special effect whereby light can shine through the folded shape.

Why the 150×150 mm size is ideal
The 150×150 mm size is precisely tailored to the proportions required for a Bascetta star of medium size. With this size you get a decoration that is large enough to stand out, but not too large for indoor use. The set contains 32 sheets of paper for your creative project.

The advantage of 115 gram transparent paper
The paper weight of 115 grams per square metre offers the perfect balance between sturdiness and workability. The paper is firm enough to retain sharp folds and keep the 3D shape stable, yet supple enough to fold accurately without tearing. The transparent character is retained while the paper has sufficient body for a durable decoration.

Practical tip for the best result
The set is supplied with a detailed folding guide that takes you through the process step by step. Make sure you create sharp folds using a folding bone or your fingernail, as this is crucial for the final result. Store any leftover sheets flat and dry to prevent creases for future use.
