What is origami paper and when do you use it?
Origami paper is special paper for origami and other folding techniques. You use it for creative projects, decorations, educational activities or as a hobby. The through-dyed paper ensures that the colours and patterns remain visible on the inside as well when you fold it.

Why choose this Japanese format?
This origami paper has the standard square format of 200 × 200 mm, which is ideal for most origami projects. The Japan design gives you authentic motifs that fit perfectly with traditional folding techniques. With 10 different motifs in one pack, you get enough variety for a range of creative projects.

Benefits of 80 gram paper weight
The paper weight of 80 g/m² offers the right balance between sturdiness and flexibility. This weight is firm enough to make sharp folds that hold their shape, yet pliable enough to carry out more complex folding patterns without the paper tearing.

Practical considerations when using
With 50 sheets you get an average of 5 sheets per motif, which is enough to try out different projects or to make mistakes while learning. Store the paper dry and flat to prevent creases. Thanks to the through-dyeing, the colours stay nicely visible, even with intricate folding techniques where both sides of the paper are shown.
