Create your own beautiful 20 cm Bascetta star with these white transparent sheets featuring silver snowflakes. Clear folding guide included, perfect for festive decoration!
When do you choose this product?
What does this product do?
These folding sheets have been specially developed for making Bascetta stars, a popular origami technique in which you create a three-dimensional decorative star by folding several paper modules together. You use this product when you want to make your own Christmas decorations or are looking for a creative activity for the festive season.
Why choose this transparent format?
The transparent paper with silver snowflakes gives an elegant, see-through look that is perfectly suited to winter and Christmas decorations. Because of the transparency, light shines beautifully through the star, creating an atmospheric effect when you place it by a window or lamp. The 150×150 mm size is precisely tailored to the Bascetta star technique.
Paper weight and foldability
The paper weight of 115 grams per square metre offers the right balance between sturdiness and foldability. The paper is firm enough to hold its shape after folding, but not so thick that it becomes difficult to work with while making the many folds this technique requires.
Practical tip for beginners
The set includes a folding guide that takes you through the process step by step. Take your time and make sure each fold is crisp before moving on to the next step. It helps to fold the modules in small groups and only join them together at the end to complete the star.
