Give your letters and cards a classic, elegant finish with these wax seals. With 2 each of red, gold and silver in the set, you can always choose the right colour for the occasion.
When do you choose this product?
What are sealing wax sticks and when do you need them?
Sealing wax sticks are decorative wax sticks used to make authentic seals for letters, invitations and certificates. You use them together with a seal stamp to create a personal or official impression in melted wax. This gives documents a classic, formal look.
Why choose this colour combination?
This set of 4 pieces offers you versatility with traditional colours: 2 red sealing wax sticks and 1 gold and 1 silver one. Red is the classic colour for official documents, while gold and silver are perfect for special occasions such as wedding invitations or anniversaries. That way you always have the right colour for every situation.
How does the sealing wax process work?
Heat the end of the sealing wax stick with a candle until the wax begins to melt. Let a few drops fall onto the desired surface and press your seal stamp in right away. The wax cools quickly and forms a durable, decorative seal that is difficult to replicate.
Practical tip for use
Practise on a piece of paper first before working on your actual document. Hold the seal stamp firmly pressed down for a few seconds and then lift it off carefully. Make sure the surface is clean and dry for the best result. This replacement pack is ideal for topping up your supply when your sealing wax runs out.
