What does this motif punch do?

With this motif punch, you cut a bow-shaped figure from a sheet of material in a single movement. That is handy if you regularly decorate cards, gift wrapping or scrapbook pages and don't want to cut out a little bow with scissors and precision every time. The collection tray underneath the punch catches the punched-out shape neatly, so you can use it straight away without having to search among scraps of card.

Why the 38 mm size works

The 38 mm punch size produces a bow large enough to serve as a striking accent on a card or label, yet small enough to punch several pieces from a single sheet. This size lends itself both to a single decorative detail and to making a series of identical bows, for example for a set of cards.

Which materials can you use?

This punch is made of plastic and is suitable for several materials: paper, card and cardstock, but also aluminium craft card and moosgummi (foam rubber). That versatility means you can switch between flat paper projects and thicker or flexible materials such as foam rubber with one punch, depending on your craft project. Do note, however, that the thickness of the material must stay within the limits of a plastic punch, as this is not designed for extremely thick or hard materials.
