With these embossing foils, you give plain surfaces an interesting, three-dimensional look. The 70 micron thickness ensures durable results, and with 5 sheets in different colours you can get started straight away.
When do you choose this product?
What is embossing foil and when do you need it?
Embossing foil is used to create three-dimensional patterns and motifs on paper, card or other materials. You need this foil when you want to give documents, cards, scrapbooking projects or decorative objects an interesting texture and depth.
Why choose this format?
This embossing foil measures 185 × 290 mm, giving you ample working space for medium-sized projects. The set contains 5 sheets in red, green, blue, silver and gold, so you can apply multiple colour variations. With this selection you have plenty of material for numerous experiments and creative combinations.
70 my thickness for embossing work
The foil has a thickness of 70 my (micron) and is specifically suitable for embossing work. This thickness ensures the foil withstands pressing with blunt tools well, while remaining flexible enough to allow for detailed work.
Practical tip for optimal use
For the best results, press patterns and motifs into the foil with a blunt tool, such as a wooden stylus. Make sure your work surface is clean and flat before you begin. Store any leftover foil sheets in a dry place, away from direct sunlight, so they retain their quality for future use.
