Give your decorations a sparkling touch with these iridescent mirror stones from Folia. The self-adhesive glass stones measuring 10 x 10 mm stick effortlessly to smooth surfaces and are easy to cut to size.
When do you choose this product?
What are these mirror tiles and when do you use them?
Iridescent mirror tiles are small glass tiles with a light-refracting, rainbow-like effect. You use them for decorative projects where you want to play with light and colour, such as decorating frames, vases, candle holders or craft projects.
Why is this roll format the right choice?
Unlike loose tiles, the tiles here come on a roll that is 40 mm wide and 1 metre long. This makes it easy to cover larger surfaces quickly and evenly without placing each tile individually. Each roll contains approximately 400 glass tiles measuring 10 x 10 mm, and because you receive two rolls in one package, you have around 800 tiles available in total for a larger project.
Honest about the adhesive layer
The tiles have a self-adhesive backing, which makes application easy without extra glue or tools. Important to know: the manufacturer states that the adhesive layer is intended for smooth surfaces. On rough, porous or dusty materials the adhesion may disappoint, so make sure the surface is clean and flat before you begin.
Practical tip for use
The roll can be cut to size, giving you flexibility in the dimensions you need. Do you only want a narrow strip or a specific length? Simply cut off the desired piece. The remaining roll is best stored rolled up and covered, so the adhesive layer doesn't dry out or attract dust before your next craft session.
