Sturdy sketchbook with a textured surface that gives your drawings extra grip. The 140gsm quality prevents show-through, perfect for pencil and charcoal work.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need a textured sketch pad?
This sketch pad from folia has been specially developed for dry drawing techniques such as pencil, charcoal, pastel and coloured pencil. The textured surface ensures that pigment adheres better to the paper, giving you richer colours and deeper shadows. You use this type of paper when you want your drawing to have more depth and character.
Why choose this A4 format?
The A4 format is ideal for sketching, studies and smaller artworks. With 20 sheets, you have enough paper for a series of exercises or a small set of drawings. The 140 gsm paper is sturdy enough to carry several layers of pigment without the paper bending or being damaged.
The textured surface
This sketch pad has a one-sided textured surface, which ensures that pigment adheres better and gives more grip while drawing.
Practical tip for use
The pad is glued along the short side, which means the sheets are attached at the top. This provides stable support while drawing and prevents loose sheets from slipping away. Turn the pad to your preference: horizontally for landscapes or vertically for portraits.
