When do you choose this product?
When should you choose cardboard lantern templates?
These templates are ideal if you want to make your own lanterns for Saint Martin's Day, Halloween or a cosy atmospheric light. The black photo card gives your lanterns a stylish look and makes a lovely contrast with the light that shines through. By crafting them yourself, you can decorate and personalise the lanterns entirely to your own taste.
Why choose this size?
With a diameter of 190 mm, these lanterns are large enough to be clearly visible, yet remain easy to carry along during a lantern parade. The pre-scored windows, with an area of approx. 135 mm, create a lovely light pattern when you place a candle or LED light inside the lantern. This size is perfect for children and adults alike.
Pre-cut windows for optimal light effect
The templates have pre-cut windows that create a lovely light pattern when you place a candle or LED light inside the lantern. The black photo card is sturdy enough to hold its shape well, yet easy to fold and glue together. The pre-cut elements make crafting accessible, even for beginners.
Practical crafting tip
You receive 5 templates in the package, ideal for a family or small group of children. For gluing together, use ordinary paper glue or double-sided adhesive tape. Make sure the lantern dries properly before placing a light source inside. For safety, it is best to use LED lights instead of real candles.
