What is fibre tissue paper and when do you use it?

Fibre tissue paper is a decorative paper used for creative projects, gift wrapping and craftwork. This special paper from folia contains natural fibres from the paper mulberry tree, giving you a unique texture and look that plain tissue paper does not have.

Why choose this 470×640 mm size?

With dimensions of 470×640 mm, you have enough material for medium to large projects. The paper is supplied folded to 320×470 mm, which is convenient for storage and transport. This size gives you the flexibility to make both smaller decorative elements and cover larger surfaces.

What makes the mulberry tree fibres special?

The natural fibres from the mulberry tree give this tissue paper a distinctive structure, with visible fibres running through the paper. These fibres create an authentic, handcrafted look that suits projects where you want a natural or oriental atmosphere. The russet brown colour complements the natural fibres beautifully.

Practical tip for use

You receive 10 sheets in a pack, which is enough for several projects or for trying things out. Please note that the paper is supplied folded - smooth it out carefully if you need completely flat sheets. Thanks to the fibres, this paper is slightly sturdier than ordinary tissue paper, but it remains delicate to handle.
